Police to use seized vehicles

I propose to allow Police, HMRC, and other official services the right to use any seized vehicle.

Vehicles seized by Police etc from any source, once a set period of time has elapsed may use that vehicle for any purpose they see fit.
The vehicles may have emergency stickers applied and used for patrol purposes or left unmarked for undercover work.
This would reduce the monetary burden of Police forces purchasing brand new vehicles, and also give them a somewhat anonymous prescence whereby the criminal element would not "spot the cops a mile off" due to all vehicles being of the same make and model.
