Don't invoke article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty in response to the EU referendum
There's no legal requirement to leave EU in response to referendum outcome.The arguments are highly complex & cannot be fully understood by most voters so this should not have been a matter for referendum. The government should take the referendum in its advisory context & take a vote in parliament
