Petition Action

We call upon HM Government not to allow retrospective re-vote of referendums.

Petition Details

The recent petition 'EU Referendum Rules triggering a 2nd EU Referendum' is claiming that because there was a turnout of less than 75% there should be a re-vote. Additional Information

A re-vote on any election or referendum would give the majority of the voters a lack of confidence in the system, leading to a large number of voters not turning up to vote in other elections. If we are a democratic country we should stand by the majority votes and not be swayed in anyway.
