Parliament to hold a free vote on whether to act upon the EU referendum result
The result of the referendum was too close to become binding on government. The populous was ill-informed and in some cases actively misled in order to sway opinion. nearly 25% of the population failed to vote. In some cases deprived of the opportunity to vote by early closer of polling stations.
