Petition Action

The EU referendum held on 23rd June must be declared void.

Petition Details

The 'Leave' campaign in the EU referendum seriously misled the public and the result of the referendum must be declared void. One of the misleading statements of particular concern is Leave's statement we send £350 million a week to the EU.

Additional Information

This statement was emblazoned on the side of their campaign bus which travelled throughout the UK and gained huge publicity. Even though the UK Statistics Authority said this statement was misleading and the respected Institute for Fiscal Studies said the statement was “absurd” Leave persisted in using the statement throughout the campaign. Therefore people were clearly misled by this also by many other misleading statements and the result of the referendum must be made void.
