Lower the voting age to 16 in a referendum deciding our future as a country
I'm a 16 year old who feels very strongly about staying in the EU. As it happens we didn't stay in the EU. The people who feel most strongly about remaining is the younger community. We have a right to have our own opinion and should be allowed to express this by being allowed to vote.
There was a survey done that the older people were the more they were inclined to vote leave. Up until the point of the age of 45 people are in the side of remain (Higher percentage the younger they are). The younger people are the future and we didn't get much of a say in this referendum
