We, the public, ask that David Cameron MP remain as our Prime Minister

Petition Details

In 2015, the majority of the general public who were eligible to vote in the General Election, decided that a Conservative led government by David Cameron MP was the right thing for this country. We want Mr. Cameron to serve until at least 2020 to deliver his manifesto commitments.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The UK Government or Parliament cannot stop a Minister resigning.
