Art 50 should only be invoked by an elected long term PM with a mandate to do so
Article 50 should only be invoked by a PM provided a mandate to do so by the UK electorate through the full democratic process AND who has at least 2 years left in office to see the process through; if appropriate therefore, a General Election should be called prior to Article 50 being invoked.
