The EU decision should be made by MPs as the public have no strong preference.
51.9% voted to leave, 48.1% to remain (turnout 72.2%). The general public have not expressed a strong desire either way. Reports suggest that many voters would vote differently now and Google results show many voters were unsure what the EU is.
Therefore the final decision should be taken by MPs.
Furthermore, the future stability of the UK as an entity itself should be considered, with Scotland and Northern Ireland perhaps looking to leave the UK if the UK leaves the EU. We should be seeking a United Kingdom.
