Propose a motion for an early general election.
Britain voted to leave the EU on the 23rd of June 2016. As a result of this vote our current prime minister David Cameron has announced his intentions to resign. The populace should have confidence in who will lead us into a post EU Britain.
Parliament needs to propose an early general election.
Parliament needs to proposes motion for an early general election and that motion must then be passed by a 2/3 majority. The populace of the U.K. should have confidence in a newly elected government to lead us into post EU life.
Currently we do not know what, if any, of the plans are for the exit and this should be the basis of campaigning in the run up should a new general election happen.
With the prime minister deciding to resign we currently do not have a government we are confident in.
