EU nationals contributing to UK economy for at least 15 years to get citizenship
Following the referendum EU nationals who have made their lives in the UK, who contribute to society by working and paying taxes are worried about their future. No one knows what the negotiations will bring. The proposal is for EU nationals in the UK for at least 15 years to gain Citizenship.
Being a contributing factor to the economy of the UK for this average length of time proves dedication to be part of the UK society and culture. EU nationals who have built their lives in the UK, are at risk of facing visa/work restrictions. Citizenship or indefinite right to remain for the contributors.
