Leave Campaign MP's to be bought before the Parliamentary Committee on Standards
The EU Referendum debate has seen a number of false and incorrect statistics used, including claims of £350 million a week sent to the EU. This and other claims have been made by Boris Johnson MP, Michael Gove MP and others.
In making these claims they have breached the Code of Conduct for MP's.
The Code of Conduct States:-
III(6) Members have a duty to act in the interests of the nation.
III(7) Members should act with probity and integrity.
In the 'Standards' that should be upheld in Public Life:-
Members should act with Selflessness, Accountability and Honesty.
Throughout the campaign the Members have not upheld these standards; have acted in their own interests and misled the public and should therefore be called before the Committee to explain themselves.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Complaints about breaches of the House of Commons Code of Conduct are investigated by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, who is independent of Parliament and Government. You can find out more about the Commissioner and her role here:
