The country is divided as a result of Brexit. If Article 50 is triggered, negotiations will be led by unelected party leaders. That is undemocratic. The British People, many of whom feel misled by the recent leave EU campaign, need the chance to vote for new leaders.
Brexit has left the country divided. Many people feel misled by the myth of the leave campaign, others regret their decisions. Cameron says he will leave serving article 50 notice to his successor but it is undemocratic that that notice and subsequent talks will be led by an unelected leader and so the British People must be given the chance to validate any new leader of the Conservative and Labour parties and their mandate in any exit talks
