All pledges in democratic elections and referendums should be legally binding.

Petition Details

The recent EU referendum result is based upon a campaign of misinformation. This is not democratic since the public are not being told the truth. All elections pledges should be clear and legally binding. Any politician found to be deliberately misleading the public should be convicted of fraud.
