Petition Action

Stop any new EU Referendum from being allowed.

Petition Details

A democratic referendum was held on 23rd June 2016 and the people have voted overwhelmingly to LEAVE.
A petition has been raised to have another referendum.
If this is allowed to go ahead it makes a mockery of people's rights.
It will demonstrate we don't have a democratic government.

Additional Information

The people of this country have spoken to 52% for leave and 48% to remain.
In the last general election 2015 the Conservatives tables only 30%of the vote, yet the losing parties did not try and get a peptition going to pressure the Goverment to hold a new election, because I believe it would have raised millions of signatures. However we are British and have all ways accepted election results.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
