Stop the Regainers from having a second referendum
A referendum - a vote in which everyone (or nearly everyone) of voting age can take part - was held on Thursday 23 June, to decide whether the UK should leave or remain in the European Union. Leave won by 52% to 48%.
The referendum turnout was 71.8%, with more than 30 million people voting. It was the highest turnout in a UK-wide vote since the 1992 general election. But sadly the remain have set a petition up for another which is at over 2million - But the on line petition can be signed by anyone anywhere in the world and also any age . So how can it be taken series when most of the signatures wont even be British . Their petition would have to have more than 17million signatures .
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
