Support the creation of a National Government for negotiations to leave the EU
We, the undersigned, support the creation of a national unity government formed of all major political parties for the duration of Britain's negotiations to leave the European Union.
We believe that doing so will more fairly represent all viewpoints when discussing Britain's future.
A national government is a coalition of all major parties, normally formed during times of national crisis, such as during the Great Depression and World War II.
The process of Britain leaving the EU is too important to be dictated by the Conservatives alone; we feel that the future of the United Kingdom should not be controlled by any single party or side.
A National Government will ensure transparency and an outcome that is fairer for everybody.
