new petition for expats enfranchisement
The Brexit referendum has had huge repercussions not only in the UK but especially for expats. We are probably more affected than most. The law must be changed so those who have been living longer than fifteen years outside the UK have the right to vote. Our vote could have made a difference.
I believe many of those who voted for 'Leave' regret this. Not only has the future of young people been jeopardised, but the whole UK is about to disintegrate, and is heading for catastrophe. Yes, there's a lot wrong with Europe, but destruction of the UK is not the answer.
