EU citizenship should be kept for all UK Citizens who so wish.
The removal of a person’s citizenship, even using democratic means sets a very worrying precedent.
In the future this precedent could be used to disenfranchise any group not popular at that time. Action should be taken to prevent this.
This petition specifically relates to the UK government's EU exit negotiations. As a result of the recent referendum resulting in a majority supporting the UK's exit from the EU all UK citizens are destined to lose their EU citizenship. The opportunity to secure continuing EU citizenship for those who want to retain that citizenship should be taken.
