Petition Action

Do not invoke Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union.

Petition Details

We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a further referendum on leaving the EU prior to implementing Article 50. A successful leave vote would require a majority greater than or equal to 60% of votes based on a turnout of more than or equal to 75%.

Additional Information

The previous EU referendum has resulted in an insufficient majority to justify leaving the EU.
Protest votes may have been made by some voters, who may now wish to reconsider.
