Disregard Petitions that would change EU Referendum rules.
We, the undersigned, request that any Petitions that demand Change to EU Referendum Rules or may trigger a Second EU Referendum are either not debated in Parliament or are removed from the Parliament Petitions website.
Requesting the implementation of rules after the EU Referendum has taken place is unreasonable and unfair. Debating this issue in Parliament would be a waste of time and would only cause more divisions.
A Second EU Referendum would be a waste of resources and would cause more instability. Democracy has already been served.
A turnout greater than 75% is higher than the average turnout for a General Election. Implementing additional rules on referendums that do not have high turnouts is absurd.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
