Petition Action

Immediately invoke Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty following the leave EU vote .

Petition Details

In a democratic referendum, the British people voted by a majority of 1,197.189 to leave the European Union
Despite this clear majority, those who voted to remain in the EU are campaigning for another referendum to be held, asking the same question of the same people, hoping to not lose a 2nd time

Additional Information

Those who voted to remain in the EU are campaigning for another referendum to be held, asking the same question of the same people, hoping that by some new propaganda they may garner enough support and thereby not lose.

Clearly this is not how the democratic process should work,

The country needs to move forward as a sovereign nation and separate ourselves from the European Union as quickly as possible rather than waste time and money speculating on the possibility of further referenda.
