Petition Action

UK Government should not allow a 2nd referendum on EU after 51.9% voted leave.

Petition Details

On the 23/06/16, 17,410,742 or 51.9% registered voters of the UK voted to leave in the EU Referendum in line with European Union Referendum Act 2015. Now a 2nd referendum is being sought by a number of voters that do not wish to abide by the decision of the voting majority on that day.

Additional Information

This country is renowned globally & throughout history for its democratic values, we the undersigned wish for our democratic decision to be upheld as per the votes cast on 23/06/16.

We believe that failure to uphold the Leave vote, would not only be unconstitutional but also damaging to future voting & the reputation of this wonderful country!

We have made a decision by voting to Leave the EU in line with the European Union Referendum Act 2015 & that the decision of the majority must stand!
