All MPs to carry out 1 month's military front line service in a war zone.
To ensure MPs understand the life changing implications of their actions when deploying armed forces to conflict zones, MPs would be required to carry out 1 month's frontline observation of troops in action within the first 6 months of their tenure.
Recent cases of military personnel being made scapegoats and being punished for carrying out their duties as directed by government shows a gross lack of understanding and support by MPs. By observing frontline action, it would be hoped that they would gain a better understanding of the pressures and difficulties faced by military personnel carrying out Government's directions.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
A decision to join the armed forces is for an individual to make, not a decision for Parliament as a whole.
