Call on David Cameron to reconsider his resignation.

Petition Details

David Cameron resigned as PM following the result of the referendum. Many of us may never have supported him or voted to remain, including myself but the country has lost a passionate charismatic and competent leader so important for our country now.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The UK Government or Parliament cannot stop a Minister resigning.
