Petition Action

Reject all petitions which have words spelled incorrectly.

Additional Information

There is no excuse in this day and age for there to be spelling mistakes. Children are taught from the age of 4 - 16 compulsory and to 18 by choice.

There is absolutely zero reason why someone with the intelligence to put up an e-petition should spell a word wrong.

Please reject all poorly worded e-petitions for the good of the nation's grammar.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
