Change the Fixed-Term Parliaments Act, to hold a post-referendum election
The referendum on the UK's membership of the EU took place in an atmosphere of uncertainty about impact. A general election would provide a pause for post-referendum evidence to be reviewed by political parties and their considered positions put to the electorate before any ratification.
