Allow serving members in armed forces & veterans free travel on public transport
in the uk disabled people unemployed and the old can jump on buses for free and in some areas can use rail networks on a discount, at current the armed forces have to pay for a rail card, yet inthe US , canada and some parts of the EU there veterans and serving soldiers can travel for free.
the UK has loads of veterans aged 22- 75 with the most being in the 22 - 30 aged group for the first time since WW2 due to commitments in afghan and iraq in the last decade,
TFL has awarded a 3 year Oyster card for veterans who have been injured in service, this should not be a perk but a recconition to the service given and extended to all train and bus companies in the UK
at any time with either there military id or veterans badge.
