Petition Action

Call for a General Election. The Government had no plan ready for Brexit.

Petition Details

The Prime minister did not have a plan for Brexit. It seems he was sure of a remain victory so never bothered with a decisive plan of action if the public voted to leave the EU despite holding a referendum regardless. This has left the country wondering with uncertainty what is going to happen.

Additional Information

David Cameron stated he would stay in position regardless of the outcome yet now he states he will stand down.
When the going gets tough, the tough hide under the table?
The Conservative party are divided, the leave campaigners are pointing at Downing Street saying the prime minister should have a clear plan. The British public do not have confidence in the prime minister nor the Conservative party and want a general election.
