Ensure the principle of freedom of movement is kept in any agreement with the EU

Petition Details

After a period of doubt and recession the bloodiest war ever took place, barely twenty years after 'The War to End All Wars'. Since WW2 Europe has enjoyed an unprecedented period of peace; Freedom of Movement guaranteed by treaty is a key instrument breaking down barriers of suspicion and mistrust.

Additional Information

Following a period of doubt, uncertainty and recession the bloodiest war in history took place on European soil, barely twenty years after 'The War to End All Wars'. Since the end of the Second World War, Europe has enjoyed an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity; and Freedom of Movement, guaranteed by European treaty, has been a key instrument in breaking down barriers of prejudice, suspicion and mistrust.
We ask that freedom of movement be maintained in any future agreement.
