MAKE PRISON A DETERRENT - NOT AN INCONVENIENCE
The Government should ensure that prison is no longer just an an inconvenience for criminals. Prison should be a deterrent. Prisoners should not have access to home comforts such as TVs etc. Their time should be spent in discomfort and without any pleasures. Cells should be spartan, functional and overcrowded.
