Politicians who knowingly make false claims to the public should be prosecuted
The EU Referendum has been contested in the face of some pretty deceptive campaigning with voters being made promises (eg "£350million more for the NHS each week") that those who made them knew were inaccurate and unrealistic. It has had profound consequences on the UK constitution.
