Ensure fair and objective media and propaganda in political campaigning.
We feel recent propaganda and media surrounding the EU referendum and its result, have wrongly demonised and misrepresented equally valuable members of society including migrants, the less educated and the older generation.
There needs to be more balanced reporting to cultivate positivity and inclusivity. We need to challenge potentially harmful soundbites, whatever they may be, which draw upon negitive stereotypes and prejudices. We feel if this is not addressed it may cause further instability to our country at an already uncertain time.
