Petition Action

Call on the Parliament to vote on the result of the referendum.

Petition Details

It should fall to our elected MPs to make an informed decision on a matter which has far reaching implications and is too important to the future of our children to be left in the hands of backwards looking, narrow minded or simply selfish voters.

Additional Information

The European Union Referendum Act 2015 was the piece of legislation created to make provision for the holding of the June 23rd referendum. The act makes no provision for the result to be legally binding due to the principle of parliamentary sovereignty.
