Hold referendum before Article 50 notice issued on terms of trade & immigration
To protect UK residents interests: Before the government issues an Article 50 notice to the EU, details of the proposed trade deal and immigration policy, as agreed in principal with a majority of EU members are to be presented to all UK residents for approval. This deal to be voted by referendum.
This proposal is to ensure that the government negotiates to protect the interests and fully inform all UK residents of that negotiation, before the government issues an Article 50 Notice to leave the EU.
The referendum to ask if the uk residents are in agreement with the terms agreed between the UK Government and the EU
The proposed referendum is to be voted on by everyone living in the UK on the date of said referendum over the age of 16 and is required to have a 60:40 majority to be passed
