Employers should publicise all vacancies before using Employment Agencies

Even in a society such as ours where transparency is a major objective, Employment agencies are able to carry on their business without being held to account.

Many people who are looking for work (and indeed the UK Economy) are being held back by Employment agencies making spurious and unaccountable decisions on a persons employability - often without explaination.

I put it to the country that employers are required to put vacancies into the public domain using free channels such as Jobcentre Plus and free local press (thus enablling direct applications) before using Employment Agencies.
