The next Prime Minister should only be appointed after a general election.
Those who lead us through the Brexit process should have first declared leaders and presented their leaders' approach to the public for examination and comparison with the proposals of the other parties at a general election so the leader of the winning party has a clear mandate.
In the name of democracy an enormous wheel has been set rolling. It must not be allowed to crush the hopes of British people to be heard or squish our right to participate in the democratic process by which government acts in our name.
