Set in law: EU citizens resident in the UK shall have permanent leave to remain.
Post referendum events have caused significant unease and distress. This legislation will act to calm nerves leaving space for a meaningful discussion about our future, and affirm the UK as the outwardly looking and tolerant nation that we proudly are, regardless of whom may lead us in the future.
