David Cameron should rescind his resignation and do the job he was elected into
David Cameron resigned after the EU Referendum. He should continue in post and see the withdrawal through to the end.
David Cameron should rescind his resignation as Prime Minister. He won the last General Election with a resounding result, and was voted in to follow the will of the people. No matter what his personal opinion, the majority of people voted to leave the European Union. The Labour Party is in meltdown;the Conservative Party should not go the same way, with leadership issues taking precedence over leaving the EU.We need strong leadership, someone who will act for the benefit of the United Kingdom.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The resignation of an individual Minister, including the Prime Minister, is not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole. It is a decision for the individual concerned. The UK Government or Parliament cannot stop a Minister resigning.
