Petition Action

We the undersigned call upon HM Government to: •Trigger Article 50 immediately

Petition Details

The voters who signed this petition are particularly panicked that Mr Cameron, in a last ditch attempt to delay this ‘Pushing of the button’ has bought some time with a view to somehow managing a re-negotiation with the Eu or even worse, completely overturning the democratic decision to leave.

Additional Information

We, your country Men and Women who voted to leave the EU call upon HM Government to implement Article 50 as promised by David Cameron in February should a ‘Leave’ European Referendum vote be successful.
This great democratic conglomerate of countries has voted to separate from Europe.
Now more than any other time in our history, we need faith in our leaders. Please confirm this by being strong and following the will of the people who vote.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
