Remove Prime Ministerial right to push Emergency Legislation
Over the last few decades, successive Prime Ministers have pushed through legislation in knee jerk reaction to unfolding news stories; often to the detriment of the majority of citizens.
Part of this is based upon the need to appear effective, to appeal to popularism or as a result of a set of circumstances that provide a mechanism to push "agenda" legislation.
Such emergency legislation should be bared from implementation.
