Petition Action

Mr Cameron continue as PM to renegotiate a position for the UK to stay in the EU

Petition Details

Parliament to prevail upon the PM to stay in post and to engage with the EU states and the British Public to renegotiate a position acceptable to all parties for the UK to remain in the EU, and to put that to the public via another referendum. He is the person most capable of leading this engagement

Additional Information

The key issue in the referendum appears to be immigration, including freedom of movement. It swayed large number of votes and ultimately determined the result. Alternative proposals that give some measure of control, if acceptable to the broader EU, should be put to the British Public.
