British Citizens to have dual UK/EU citizenship recognised as dual nationality
I am seeking formal recognition of dual citizenship of the United Kingdom and the European Union. Those born and legally living in the EU may consider it as part of their national or continental identity, therefore under the principle of self-determination dual citizenship should be recognised.
Following the result of the United Kingdom’s referendum on its membership of the European Union, individuals may apply for dual citizenship of the UK and EU. Those born in the EU and those who have have lived within may consider the EU as part of their national or continental identity, and therefore under the principles of self-determination have a right to remain a continued citizen of the EU regardless of geographical location.
