Refuse NHS treatment for smoking related illness for patients who refuse to give up smoking
For smoking related illnesses that have recently developed, people who have continued to smoke, despite the warnings on the effects to their health, should be refused free treatment.
The NHS is paid for by everybody who contributes by paying taxes and National Insurance, yet not everybody smokes. It is unfair to ask people who do not smoke to pay for the care of those who ignore the blatant health warnings.
