Petition Action

Ask Parliament not to ratify Article 50 in the best interests of UK.

Petition Details

Parliament have the power to instruct the PM not to invoke Article 50. With the mood of the country changing since the vote, and the obvious damage the UK now visible, we ask Parliament to take account of the concerns expressed in the referendum but vote to reject the invocation of Article 50.

Additional Information

At 13:30 on 27th June more than 3.7 million people have petitioned for a second referendum. Media is widely reporting the change in mood of those who voted to leave. The consequences of invoking Article 50 are now better understood and do so represents a clear and present danger to the future prosperity of the UK and to its influence in world politics. With the Union also under threat we ask that MPs act in the long-term strategic interests of the UK and vote to not invoke Article 50.
