(Brexit) The UK should call a snap general election to form a new government.
The goverment should pass legislation calling for an exemption to the Fixed-Term Parliament Act and have a general election immediately after the selection of a replacement leader of the Conservative Party and before any substantive negotiations take place with the EU
Leaving the EU creates a crisis that cannot be solved through the internal politics of the Tory party. The decision of who is going to lead negotiations should be put in the hands of the people of the UK. Both the campaigns drew support across the UK and the country is still divided over the result. It is time to call a snap general election. To form a government with the mandate to act in the interests of the British people after Brexit.
