The UK government does not invoke Article 50 and the UK REMAINS IN THE EU.
1.The EU Referendum result was extremely close (51.9% "Leave", and 48.1% Remain), and whilst "Leave" won that vote, this is a very marginal win and should only be part of the decision-making process
2.The EU Referendum was "advisory" and not binding on Parliament
3.The Bank of England and CBI was, and are, strongly pro-Remain
4.The 2015 General Election had only 1 MP (UKIP) with a manifesto to leave Europe (out of 650 MPs), with most other 649 elected MPs having manifestos to Remain in Europe
5.There are particularly strong grounds for the UK to remain in the EU (as per the Government's, "Why the Government Believes We Should Remain" publication)
6.It is in the interests of the cohesion of the UK to remain in the EU
7.It is in the UK's best interests.
