Work for Benefits, or have them reduced.
The welfare state provides an allowance for many people who are fit and able enough to work, but who choose not to or who are unable to find employment.
The proposal is that those who claim these benefits and who are in a position where they are able to work are gainfully employed to earn these benefits through working in their community. Local authorities can decide in partnership with communities.
Failure to do so would initiate a review into reducing the amoun they recieve.
