Table a motion that there shall be an early parliamentary general election
The PM announced his resignation after the referendum went in favour of leaving the EU, Any sucessor to him as PM will have different policies . Therefore the manifesto that the government were elected on will have changed, and this change should be ratified by the electorate in a general election.
