HM Government to hold a 2nd EU referendum at which voting age is lowered to 16.
We the undersigned believe that British youth has been betrayed by an older generation out of touch with the way the world has moved on and Britain’s place within it. We call upon HM Government to hold a second EU referendum at which the voting age is lowered to 16.
75% of voters aged 24 and under voted to remain in the EU.
55% of voters aged 25 – 49 voted to remain in the EU.
